Solano County Names New Director of General Services

Solano County has named a 34-year veteran of public service to head its Department of General Services. Megan Greve will replace outgoing director Michael Lango on Sept. 8.

The Department of General Services provides an array of support services to county departments and also oversees management of the Nut Tree Airport. It has a budget of $29.3 million and 102 employees.

“I am very excited to join the Solano County team and to provide leadership for the Department of General Services,” said Greve, who currently oversees General Services in Sutter County. “I look forward to joining the fine staff here and providing outstanding service to the county departments as well as the citizens of Solano County.”

Before becoming the head of Sutter County’s Department of General Services, Greve was the county’s deputy administrative officer. She got her start as a management analyst for Lathrop.
