27 Counties Receive CSAC Challenge Awards

51 public programs across 27 California counties received awards this month from the California State Association of Counties’ (CSAC).

The 2019 Challenge Awards received the second highest number of entries since it began (284), with the largest number of accolades going to Riverside County.

“If you think county government isn’t innovative or resourceful, think again,” Riverside County Executive Officer George Johnson said in a press release. “This recognition by CSAC illustrates something that I’ve long known to be true – Riverside County is a creative place where ideas and solutions grow. I’m very proud of the programs that earned these well-deserved awards.”

Below is a list of 2019 awards recipients provided by CSAC. Read more about the winning programs here.
