San Luis Obispo Mourns Sudden Death of Supervisor Adam Hill

San Luis Obispo County continues to mourn the passing of 3rd District Supervisor Adam Hill — a unique challenge in the era of COVID-19.

Hill, 54, was found dead on Aug. 6 at his Shell Beach home. The cause of death was not immediately disclosed, but Hill had attempted suicide several months earlier. Hill had been open about his struggles with Depression.

Hill was elected to the San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors in 2008. He previously taught as an English professor at Cal Poly and once worked for Sen. Bill Bradley (D-New Jersey).
