Newsom Announces 17 Judicial Appointments

Seventeen new Superior Court judges have been appointed to the bench by Gov. Gavin Newsom. The new appointees were announced last week and include two in Fresno County; five in Los Angeles County; one in Merced County; three in Orange County; one in San Benito County; three in San Diego County; one in San Francisco County; and one in Ventura County.
Nine of the appointees are women. All will earn a base salary of $225,074.
