LA Health Officials Issue Beach Warnings

Harmful levels of bacteria have been found in the waters off several LA County beaches, prompting a warning from the county’s Department of Public Health.
The beaches under advisory are:
- Inner Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro;
- Santa Monica Pier
- Mother's Beach in Marina Del Rey
- 40th Street extension in Manhattan Beach
- Manhattan Beach Pier
To avoid getting sick, health officials recommend people do not swim, surf or play in these waters.
