Nine Bay Area counties will receive $7.6 million from the state in an effort to support COVID-19 vaccination efforts.
As of April 1, anyone 50 and over will be eligible for the coronavirus vaccine. Two weeks later on April 15, eligibility will expand to anyone over the age of 15.
