Local Cannabis Measures on the Nov. 3 Ballot

Over three dozen cities or counties in California have marijuana initiatives on the Nov. 3 ballot. The National Organization for Reform of Marijuana Laws and Marijuana Business Daily have produced a comprehensive guide on the measures, as well as state and local races.

Most of the local measures would tax cannabis businesses, anywhere from 1.25% to 10%. In localities where commercial cannabis is not yet legal, this is typically the first step.
